Lawrence, Blackburn, Meek, Maxey & Co., P.C. was established in 1965 in Beaumont, Texas. Our firm has a long history of continued and expanded services to our clients. This long record of service has provided benefits of recognition and an excellent reputation in our area of service. The firm is licensed to practice in both Texas and Louisiana.

Our firm provides accounting, tax, management advisory, and other professional services to a wide range of clients throughout Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana. Our reputation for integrity, competence and distinguished service is based on many years of successful practice and continuous service to our clients. The "Service Approach"

 

We employ the "Service Approach" to all engagements which includes providing a full range of services that meet the client's specific needs performed in a timely manner.  An optimum mix of quality and efficiency is desired for each engagement.

We are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. This allows us to "network" with other professionals regarding auditing, accounting, tax, and other related problems we have in common. We are committed to continuing education in all areas of our practice.

Maintaining High Practice Standards
 

We are members of the Quality Review Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. This Quality Review Section requires certain quality control procedures to be in effect in order to maintain membership within the group. We have complied with these requirements and continually endeavor to maintain a high quality of practice standards in all areas of our public accounting practice.

Lawrence, Blackburn, Meek, Maxey & Co., P.C. has seven employees, and includes three shareholders/CPAs, two professionals, and two support and administrative staff. The collective experience of these individuals in dealing with the variety of challenges, which confront business in all segments of the local economy, is our most valuable asset.

Since 1965, we have been providing the full spectrum of accounting services to our clients, and due to our steady growth over the years, we can provide these services to the largest of entities while still maintaining the personal one-to-one relationship which instills confidence in our ability to satisfy the individual concerns of our clients.
